Services & Professional Qualifications

As a psychologist, I provide psychotherapy for adults and adolescents, couples, and families. Because my work is person- rather than problem-centered, I do not consider it to be “specialized”, but I am familiar with and have had many years of experience treating most psychological issues and complaints, including anxiety, depression, attachment and relationship issues. I work with eating disorders and addiction problems, impulse disorders, and problems related to childhood physical and sexual abuse.

In addition to my Ph.D. in clinical psychology, I trained in contemporary psychoanalysis at the Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles (where I am currently a candidate in the Psy.D program). I have been in private practice for 30+ years and have also had extensive experience supervising interns and teaching at the graduate level here in Santa Barbara. I am licensed as a marriage and family therapist.

Location and Fees
